About Sotek


Established in 1988 by Jacques and Carmen Saumure, So-Tek Graphics provides a full range of printing services and solutions to customers in Ottawa, Gatineau and across Eastern Ontario.

Our modern 5,000-square-foot plant employs 10 staff. We use state-of-the-art software and equipment and a full range of recycled and Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) approved papers.

Our team combines years of experience with up-to-date skills and an expert knowledge of printing trends and technologies. We offer fully bilingual service (30 per cent of our customers are from the Gatineau area). We understand the value of proactive input and maintain consistent/constant communication with our customers during all stages of the production cycle.

Jacques Saumure

President

Jacques is an industry leader in the technology of colour. He is also responsible for So-Tek’s sales and marketing, as well as research and development. With more than 32 years of experience in pre-press and print, Jacques will work with you to achieve the best quality and price to meet your needs.

Carmen Saumure

Vice-President

Carmen is responsible for the overall administration of the company. She handles all aspects of finance, purchasing and HR.

Peter Tearle

Production Manager/CSR

With an extensive background in pre-press, Peter ensures that all client requests are professionally handled. Employed with So-Tek since 2000, Peter has more than 22 years of experience and knowledge in the printing industry.

Michael Armstrong

Pre-press Manager/Operator

Mike manages the pre-press department and also prepares and troubleshoots customer-supplied files for digital and offset printing. His comprehensive background in printing technology is a great asset to the company. Mike, who has been employed at So-Tek since 1990, makes sure the job gets done.
